Dr Omar Effat Mokhtar is one of the most experienced and proficient dentists at DerMund dental. He graduated with high honors in dentistry from the prestigious Ain shams University in 2011. Dr Omar had a great affinity towards oral and maxillofacial surgery since dental school. After graduating with distinction, he successfully secured admission to complete a master’s degree in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery & Dental implantology in 2019. Currently, Dr Omar Effat Mokhtar is serving as an Assistant Lecturer of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the Faculty of Dentistry, Ain shams University.
Apart from providing quality education to dental students, Dr Omar is also striving to expand his horizon of knowledge. To achieve his aim of getting advanced education he is currently enrolled as a PhD Candidate in the department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the Faculty of Dentistry, Ain shams University. Dr Omar is playing a lead role in handling all the maxillofacial surgeries at DerMund Dental. He is known for his expertise, quality of work, effective communication with the patients and best treatment planning along with the perfect prognosis.
Dr Omar is an exceptional and versatile dental specialist. Along with clinical expertise, he has a keen interest towards hospital management.

Following his passion for hospital management Dr Omar earned a Healthcare & Hospital Management Diploma from one of the eminent universities of Egypt known as American University in Cairo during his internship year in 2012. Dr Omar is actively performing his responsibilities as the operational manager & a Clinical Supervisor at the Bio horizons Implant Center in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery department, Faculty of Dentistry, Ain shams University from 2017 till the present day.
